Building and Finance Council
The Building and Finance Council
serves in an advisory capacity to the Pastor. Members of the Council
are appointed by the Pastor based on business, financial, and
technical expertise and assist in the review and
analysis of financial reports and
budgets. The Council is of integral importance to the physical and
financial operation of the parish. The Council meets on the first
Monday of each month at 7:30 P.M.
Christmas Giving Tree Project
The Giving Tree Project is one of the
most joyous projects of the Christmas season. Each year a special
tree is erected several weeks prior to December 25 and decorated with
ornaments bearing the names and ages of children in the community who
will benefit from the generosity of OLV parishioners. Gifts are
collected from participating parishioners who purchase gifts based on
the age and sex of the child whose name appears on each ornament. The
gifts are distributed in time for Christmas celebration.
